Many pet owners feel that the only possible way they can enjoy is to bring their pets to the vacation, as a natural part of the loving family. Good thing is that the trend of traveling with dogs and pets on vacations and holidays is widely accepted by many pet and dog friendly hotels.

This is a list of the best dog-friendly hotels in the USA where you can enjoy your perfect vacation and allow dogs and possibly other pets.

The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel

The last hotel on the list really does offer some class. Don’t expect your dog to have a silent and peaceful vacation while staying in this Californian establishment. There are a lot of dog festivities, such as ‘Yappy-Howl-iday Celebration’ and ‘Howl-O-Ween’ and various seasonal events throughout the whole year. Additionally, every dog gets his own bed, bowls, chew toys, doggie service menu, waste bags and much more. The hotel charges a cleaning fee of $150 for each dog staying, plus $50 per night.

The Little Nell

The Little Nell is the best-rated hotel in Aspen, Colorado and the 14th best in the USA. Besides the usual equipment for pets, the hotel offers gourmet dining alternatives for dogs and pet sitting services. There is a cleaning fee of $125 every owner has to pay, plus an additional $25 per night.

Fairmont Grand Del Mar, San Diego CA

With a stay at Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego (Carmel Valley), you’ll be within a 15-minute drive of Torrey Pines State Reserve and San Diego Polo Fields. This 5-star hotel is 8.7 mi (14.1 km) from University of California-San Diego and 11.8 mi (19 km) from La Jolla Cove.  Fairmont Grand Del Mar welcomes small dogs weighing up to 25 lbs. A non-refundable cleaning fee of $150.00 will be charged to the credit card on file.

The Jefferson (Washington, DC)

It’s not only the best ranking dog-friendly hotel but the second best-rated hotel in the USA as well. Your dog will be given bed, bowls, and treats while staying in one of the rooms for a one-time fee of $50. The establishment has its own dog named Monti, a beagle with the role of ‘Executive Canine Officer’.

The Greenwich Hotel. The Greenwich Hotel is pet friendly! Two pets of any size are welcome for no additional fee.

Situated in New York City, the hotel is rated in the top 3 hotels in town. There is no fee for bringing your pet so you just need to bring his bed and put it next to yours in any room you like. Moreover, there is no weight limit for pets, so any dog prom Pekinese to Saint-Bernard is welcomed.

The Umstead Hotel and Spa

North Carolina’s no. 1 charges a one-time fee of $200 for pets that want to spend some quality time at the hotel. By paying the fee each dog gets his own bed, food and water bowl, some treats and a playground designed particularly for pets. What the owners get except for having their buddies close are dog-walking and pet-sitting services free of charge.

The Hernitage Hotel

The best hotel in Nashville is located close to a few parks where owners can have fun with their pets. Every dog is welcomed and gets his own bed, bowls and treats, and even massage treatment. Owners have to pay $50 per night for their pet.

The Beverly Hills Hotel

The Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles charges $35 per night for each dog that spends his time enjoying the hotel’s luxuries. At arrival, every pooch receives a cookie shaped like a bone with his name on it. There are, of course, pet-sitting and dog-walking services that cost extra.

Cats will spend their visit in the separate “Kitty City” pavilion in two- and four-room condos. There also is a special area for boarding pocket pets such as hamsters, fish and birds.
